The Cinema of the Beach is a section that screens releases or blockbusters like the open cinema at the Busan International Film Festival. The short film "Sweet dreams are made of this" directed by Song Min-seok, a graduate of Sangmyung University's Department of film and video major, who was invited to the Cannes Film Festival, is about four friends who took the mock test. Four friends who took the mock test listen to the story of a wish-fulfilling dead body in the basement of the cathedral. Interested people head to the cathedral's basement to investigate the story. It is a fantastic thriller in which the night gets darker and unexpected experiences begin for them. The short film "Sweet dreams are made of this" was produced in the second semester of 2022 in the film production course led by Kwon Byungchul, a professor of the film and video department at Sangmyung University. Filming Lee Dongseop (19th class), PD Kim Minji (20th class), lighting Jung Hyunjin (17th class), art Kim Sungeun (21st class), simultaneous recording Jang Gyuri (21st class), and editing Lee Taein (20th class) participated, while Park Seokyung (18th class), Lee Yongmin (20th class) and Lim Seungtaek (17th class) appeared as actors in the short film “Sweet dreams are made of this”.
