Department of Stage Art
The Department of Stage Art was founded in Sangmyung University in 1996 to provide the first stage art education in a 4-year university. Since then, it has been recognized as a prestigious department of stage art that boasts traditions and future potential by growing continuously with the development of the performance and image arts industry. It is currently cultivating talented human resources who combine artistic and technical competence by equipping them with a specialized education system in arts and technology for performances and video arts such as stage design, stage costume design, stage lighting design, production design, stage production and technology.
