디지털 통신의 원리와 주요 변복조 방법에 대하여 학습한다. 펄스변조와 펄스부호변조, ASK, FSK, PSK 등의 변조방식과 대부분의 통신시스템에 사용되는 허프만코딩, 블록코딩, Convolutional 코딩, 그리고 다양한 Multiplexing 기법에 대하여 학습한다. Matlab을 이용하여 디지털 통신 시스템을 모델링하고 학습한 이론들을 확인한다.

This course covers the essential theories and principles of digital communication. The topics to be included are; digital modulation channel capacity, PAM, PCM, baseband signaling, ASK, FSK, PSK, channel coding(block coding and convolutional coding) and various multiplexing methods.
