본 교과목에서는 실세계의 문제를 어떻게 컴퓨터를 이용하여 해결할 것인가에 대한 일반적인 원칙과 이론을 학습하고, 효과적이고 효율적인 프로그램을 개발할 수 있는 기초 능력을 배양하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 C 언어의 문법과 활용을 학습하고 이와 병행하여 컴퓨터 프로그래밍의 기초에서부터 중급 수준까지의 프로그램 설계 및 구현 기법에 대해 학습한다.

The purposes of this course are, first, learning the general principles and theories on how to solve real-world problems using a computer, and then, cultivating the basic ability to develop computer program with more efficient and effective procedure. For these purposes, we develop utilization ability of computer program based on learning basic grammar of C language. In parallel to this, we also learn about the program design and implementation techniques from the basic level to the medium level computer
