통계학은 사회 전 분야에서 필요로 하는 과목이다. 본 교과에서는 경영통계I에 이어서 자료 분석 방법과 통계학에 대한 기초 이론을 확립하고, 응용기법을 습득함으로써, 경영공학 및 기타 여러 분야에서 발생하는 자료의 처리 및 합리적인 분석 능력을 배양한다. 본 교과는 품질경영의 기초가 되며 더 나아가 6-sigma, CRM(Customer Relationship Management, 고객관계관리) 등의 최신기법을 학습하기 위한 기초가 되는 과목이다.

Statistics is one of essential courses for all subjects. Foreseeing 21th century may be the era of system integration and data flood, statistical knowledge for the data analysis is an important tool for one’s lifetime. As the next course the Business StatisticsⅠ, the students will study statistical inferences such as estimations and tests.
