중등학교 교재 내용 중 대수학과 관련된 정수 집합과 유리수 집합의 관계와 정수집합과 실수 또는 복소수 집합의 관계의 유사점과 차이점을 알아봄으로써 수집합의 체계적인 이해를 도모하고, 이를 대수학의 근본 목표인 다항식의 근을 찾는 데 활용할 수 있게 하며, 또한 위의 개념을 중등학교 교사들이 응용하여 보다 다양한 대수학습이 이루어질 수 있게 교수법을 연구해 본다.

Study the algebraic structure(rings and fields) and its applications. Emphasis on the structure of finite fields and coding theory. Also study the relationship among graph, code, and design using Association schemes. And Study the algebraic structure(groups and vector spaces) and its applications. Emphasis on the structure of matrices over semirings. Also study the relationship among fuzzy theory, graph theory, and linear algebra using combinatorial matrix theory.
