전공 과목을 이수하는데 필요한 미적분학의 기초지식을 심화시키고 다양한 문제를 해결하는 능력을 기른다. 다변수 함수의 미분과 적분, 벡터 해석, Fourier 급수, Fourier 급수의 적분, 이상적분, 기타 특수함수의 성질 등을 다룬다. 본 교수자는, 보다 광범위한 청중을 자극하기 위해 수학, 공학, 물리학, 생물학 및 경제학이 적용된 다양한 문제에 대한 벡터 미적분의 광범위한 적용을 프레젠테이션에 포함시킬 것이다.
교과목해설(영문)
The course is intended to improve the basic concepts for calculus which is required to complete the courses for major and develop the ability for solving the various problems. This functions of several variables, vector calculus, Fourier series, and improper integration, etc. To stimulate a broader audience the instructor will include in his presentations a wide range of applications of vector calculus to various problems applied mathematics, engineering, physics, biology and economics.
