본 과목에서는 대부분의 현대적인 전자 기기에 사용되는 마이크로프로세서의 동작 원리 및 응용 기술에 대하여 가르친다. 본 과목에서 다루는 기술적인 사항은 다음과 같다. 마이크로프로세서의 구조, 명령어 집합, 어셈블리 프로그램, 예외 및 인터럽트 처리, 메모리의 구조, 주변 장치의 구조 등이다.

In this course, students will learn the operational principles and application technologies of microprocessors which are used in most modern electronics devices. The technical subjects covered in the course is as follows. The structure of the microprocessor, instruction sets, assembly programs, exception and interrupt handling, memory structures, and the structure of peripheral devices.
