소프트웨어를 개발하는 프로그래머들에게 여러 인터페이스 개발 방법들을 소개하고, 이 방법들을 적용 분야와 적용 목적에 따라 그 차이를 비교함으로서 보다 편리한 인터페이스를 개발하는 방법을 학습한다. 또한 소프트웨어들이 지금까지 사용해 왔던 방법들을 살펴보고 사용자 측면에서 문제점을 알아봄으로써 보다 효과적인 인터페이스 설계를 할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다.

Human?Computer Interaction(HCI) is the study of the interaction between users and computers. The basic goal of HCI is to improve the interactions between users and computers by making computers more usable and receptive to the user's needs. The course covers the design, evaluation and implementation of interactive computing systems for human use.
