Welcome to Spring 2024 at Sangmyung University

The start of the spring semester always brings a fresh energy to campus. I think we make lots of new resolutions whenever a new year comes and everyone makes a plan for this semester during the winter break. I hope the winter break provided everyone with relaxation and an opportunity to prepare something that you want.
March is a meaningful month for many students and it also means beginning. For freshmen, March is the start of the spring semester. It will give them various opportunities and experiences. I would like to congratulate them very much on their start and recommend them to try and experience many things.
In addition, this is the start for me as the new Editor-in-chief of the SM Herald. We will release a total of four publications this year and the March issue is the start. Moreover, we plan to recruit new Cub-reporters in March, so if you are interested in this, it would be good to prepare an application.
As with everyone, there will be expectations and fears before a new start. However, I think it will all work out if you prepare and practice the start well. I cheer for your new starts and university life.
