커뮤니티 통역이라는 통역의 한 분야에 대해 기본적인 개념을 정립할 수 있는 기회를 갖는다. 커뮤니티 통역은 의료, 법정 그리고 천안시의 세계 춤 축제인 ‘흥타령’과 같은 지역사회 행사에서 이루어지는 통역을 뜻하며, 그 역할과 중요성을 잘 익혀서 지역사회 행사 등에 통역자로 참여할 수 있는 역량을 기른다.
교과목해설(영문)
During this course, students will learn basic concepts and areas of community interpreting. Community interpreting will include the medical context, legal cases and other community events such as Heungtaryung, the World Dance Festival in Cheonan. Students will gain basic knowledge about community interpreting and participate as interpreters in the local world dance event in the future.
