영어 듣기 이해의 기초학습으로 간단한 구어체 글을 읽고 이해하는 능력을 기르도록 하며, 학생들이 가지고 있는 영어에 대한 모든 지식을 적용하여 단락을 이해하고 그 가운데 단락이 제시하는 전체적인 이해를 함양하도록 한다.

During this course, students will develop their listening comprehension skills by listening to simple oral texts from both top-down and bottom-up perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on overall understanding of short oral passages in English.
