문화, 장소, 공간의 관계를 이해하기 위해 문화와 지리적 공간을 다룬 연구 패러다임의 변천과정을 알아보고, 최근의 비판적 공간연구이론에 의해 사례를 분석한 연구들을 살펴본다. 사례 분석 이후에는 경관, 장소, 자연과 문화, 사회적 구성물 등의 연구주제를 적용하여 실제 장소를 분석해 본다.
교과목해설(영문)
In this course, students are expected to comprehend the relationships among culture, society, and geographical space by examining the development of research paradigms of cultural geography along with such concepts as landscapes, places, the relations between nature and culture, and social construction. Socio-cultural research themes on place and space are also analyzed to conduct a case study.
