공간정보시스템은 최첨단 정보 통신기술을 이용하여 복잡한 공간현상을 설명하고 분석하기 위한 고도의 통합정보시스템으로서 학문적 연구에서 뿐만 아니라 실생활에서 다양하게 응용되고 있다. 이 교과목에서는 공간정보를 다루기 위한 소프트웨어의 특성과 활용 방법을 심층적으로 이해하고 지도중첩, 버퍼링, 3D분석, 네트워크분석 등과 같은 다양한 공간 연산기능을 이론과 실습을 통해 익힌다.

Spatial information system as an integrated system is widely utilized in many academic fields as well as in the real world to explain and analyzes spatial phenomena. This course aims at helping students to understand a variety of applications for spatial information software. In addition, students can learn various spatial calculation functions including 3D analysis, network analysis, overlaying, buffering analysis and spatial statistics for spatial data.
