이 교과목은 글로벌지역학부 신입생에게 학부 전공을 소개하고 학부의 기초 역량을 다지기 위해 동서양 주요 국가의 문화적 특성을 개관하고 21세기 글로벌 사회에서 글로벌 지역의 언어와 문화가 어떠한 기여를 하고 있는지 알아본다.

This course introduces students to the field of area studies in the age of globalization and lays a solid foundation for their future majors in the Division of Area Studies. Students will gain elementary grasp of the cultures and languages of the six majors in the Division.
