역사는 그 나라와 국민을 이해하는 출발점이자 열쇠이다. 중국의 역사는 실로 장구하고 방대하다. 수천 년에 걸친 중국의 역사를 개괄적으로 소개하고 나아가 신중국이 성립되기까지의 과정을 다루어 현재의 중국과 중국인을 이해하는 데 도움이 되고자 한다.

History is the starting point and the key to understanding a nation and its people. This course provides an introduction to the history of China, beginning from its origins to the establishment of modern China in order to help students understand contemporary China and Chinese people.
