전공에서 또는 일상생활에서 발생하는 문제들에 대해 컴퓨터 과학의 기본개념을 끌어와서 문제해결에 적용시키는 컴퓨팅 사고(Computational Thinking)를 학습한다.

This subject is aimed at students with little or no programming experience. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the role computation can play in solving problems.
It also aims to help students, regardless of their major, to feel justifiably confident of their ability to write small programs that allow them to accomplish useful goals.
