한국어 어휘의 구조적, 의미적 특성을 이해하고 한국어 교육 현장에서 학습자들에게 단계별로 제시할 수 있는 기본 어휘를 선정한다. 한국어 교육 4개의 기본 영역과 연계하여 실시할 수 있는 효율적인 어휘 교육과 그에 따른 평가 방안에 대해서 탐구한다. 또한 한국어 어휘 교육에 대한 선행 연구를 살펴봄으로써 어휘 교육에 대한 발전 방향도 모색한다.

In this course, structural and symbolic characteristics of Korean lexicons are understood and basic lexicons that can be presented to learners in step-by-step fashion at Korean education scenes are selected. Efficient lexicon education and evaluation methods that can be conducted in conjunction with the areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing are also explored. In addition, direction of development in lexicon education is explored by examining advanced research on Korean lexicon education.
