한국문학은 세계문학과 연관되어 생성하고 발전하여 왔다. 고대에서 현재에 이르기까지 이러한 상황은 달라진 적이 없다. 따라서 한국문학을 이해하기 위해서는 다른 지역의 문학을 이해하는 일이 매우 중요하다. 이 교과에서는 다양한 세계문학을 살펴봄으로서 우리 문학의 현재를 이해하는 기회를 갖는다. 또 다른 나라의 문학과 문화를 이해함으로서 세계화 시대에 어울리는 세계 인식을 갖도록 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
Korean literature has been created and developed in connection with world literature. From ancient times to the present, this situation has never changed. Therefore, in order to understand Korean literature, it is very important to understand literature in other regions. This lecture provides an opportunity to look into the past and present of our literature by comparing literature of other countries directly or indirectly affecting our literature with our works.
