본 교과는 디자인교육 전반에 대한 패러다임을 이해하고 제 원리를 파악하여 디자인교육을 포괄적으로 이해할 수 있도록 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 디자인교육의 개념과 동향 등을 알아보고 디자인교육의 목적과 필요성에 대한 기초이론을 확립하며 시각디자인 교육, 환경디자인 교육, 디자인 색채계획 등의 각 영역에 대하여 개괄적으로 살펴본다.

This subject aims to understand design education comprehensively by perceiving the general paradigm and theory of design education. In order to do so, you are to study concept and trend of design education, to establish basic theory of design education on its purpose and necessity, and to overview each field of Visual Art design education, Environmental Design education, Design Color Planning and etc.
