산업디자인의 기초교과목으로서 간단한 구성 및 재료를 통하여 디자이너가 갖추어야 할 여러 필수 요소 중 입체에 대한 사고와 개념을 이해하고 습득하는데 그 주안점을 둔다. 입체조형물을 통하여 재료를 체험하고 조형적 창의력을 배양하고자 하는 과목으로, 주어진 주제를 구현하기 위하여 디자인 계획에 맞추어 제작하는 과정을 직접 체험하도록 한다.
교과목해설(영문)
In this basic industrial-design course, emphasis is placed on understanding and grasping the concept of three-dimensionalism among the various essential elements that a designer must embrace, through simple composition and materials. Also, this course intends to develop modeling creativity in the students through the experience of materials and three-dimensional modeling. Designers directly experience the process of producing their design plans to realize a given theme.
