화학공학을 비롯하여 환경공학, 의생명공학, 생명공학, 자원공학 등 다양한 범위의 공학의 주요 단위공정에서 일어나는 열 및 물질의 전달 현상을 이해하고 이를 위해 열 및 물질 전달의 기초 물리 공정을 학습하고 이를 표현할 수 있는 기초 수학적 표현법을 알아보는 교과목이다.
교과목해설(영문)
The fundamental physical processes of heat and mass transfer are processes are covered in this course, including the underlying physics, mathematical representation and application in engineering problem solving. These phenomena are ubiquitous in process engineering and the underlying principles are common to many unit operations effecting heat and mass transfer in diverse areas ranging from biomedical, biotechnology, chemical, environmental and mineral processing applications.
