회계는 투자자가 한정도나 자원을 바탕으로 합리적인 의사결정을 할 수 있도록 유용한 정보를 인식, 측정,전달하는 시스템의 역할을 수행한다. 이과목에서는 회계의 순환과정을 중심으로 회계의 기본개념, 재무제표 작성을 위한 기본원리를 학습한다. 경영계열의 학생으로서 기업정보를 생성하고 이를 바탕으로 의사결정에 도움이 되는 정보를 이용할 수 있는 능력 배양을 통해 자본주의경제의 성숙한 지식인으로 기업과 사회 발전에 기여한다.

Accounting is defined as an system that provides useful information to make a rational decision by recording, measuring, delivering informatuon through financial statements. This course covers basic financial accounting principles for business enterprises. Topics include the the accounting cycle, accounting concepts, measurement of income, asset and liability valuation. This course is also designed to have role to contribute businesss activities abd economic development by providing basic acconting education to students.
