This is the stnadard statistics course ifffered by the department and examines generak methodology for decision-making under uncertainty. The purpose of the course is to proveid stutents with an understanding of the orinciokes if statistical inference. Topics include probability, sampling distribytions, hypothesis testing, estimatiom, and simple regression.
