기초드레이핑은 머슬린을 이용하여 인체구조에 대한 이해를 기초로 인대 위에서 직접 패턴을 만들어내는 3차원적 입체 패턴 제작과정으로서 다트매니퓰레이션을 통한 bodice의 활용과 Skirt,sleeve,collar의 다양한 디자인에 대한 드레이핑 작업을 통해 창의적인 의복 디자인의 패턴을 개발할 수 있는 기초적 기법을 습득한다.

Basic Draping is to get the basic knowledge of making the pattern directly on the body with using muslin. Through critiqued design development on the dress form, students develop their own sense of proportion, silhoiuette, line and style, while exploring current market trends.
