의복은 인체에 입혀짐으로써 그 목적을 다하는 것이므로 기본적인 과정으로 체형관찰 및 인체계측을 실시하여 체형의 특징을 파악하게 하고, 체형에 적합한 Basic Pattern의 제작 및 활용법 등을 실습 한다. 평면제도법의 원리를 이해하고 그 활용법을 기초로 하여 스커트와 셔츠의 원형과 다양한 디자인의 변화와 활용을 실습한다. 아이템별 실물제작을 통하여 의복제작과정의 단계별로 요구되는 이론과 실기능력을 키운다

This course allows students to proceed from the study and application of the basic prinsiples of pattern making to a more comprehensive view of design within flat pattern methods and prinsiples. This course learns the sewing techniques ？ including cutting, construction, and finishing - are explored, using industrial equipment to create sample garments in cotton or cotton-type fabrics.
