교과목해설
프랑스어 사용국가와 지역은 프랑스와 유럽 일부국가뿐만이 아니라 오대양 육대주에 걸쳐 분포한다. 영어를 제외한다면 프랑스어는 전 세계의 각 지역을 포괄하는 유일한 언어이며, 영어와 더불어 유엔과 올림픽의 공식 언어로 사용되는 국제어이기도 한다. 특히 아프리카의 경우 다수의 국가가 프랑스어를 공용어인 동시에 일상 언어로 사용하고 있으며, 한국과 아프리카의 증대하고 있는 사회, 문화, 경제교류에 있어서도 중요한 언어이다. 이에 대한 이해를 통해 프랑스어권 지역 전문가로서의 기초를 다진다.
교과목해설(영문)
French-speaking countries and territories distribute across the five largest states, as well as France and parts of Europe. Aside from English, French is the only language that encompasses each region of the world, and it is also the international language used as the official language of the United Nations and the Olympics in addition to English. In particular, in Africa, many countries use French as both an official language and a daily language, and it is also an important language for the growing social, cultural, and economic exchanges between Korea and Africa. Understanding it will lay the foundation for the French language region expert.
