이 교과목은 영어로 다양한 주제의 토론과 토의를 통하여 영어 능력을 향상함을 목적으로 한다. 학생들은 다양한 장면에서 주어진 주제에 대해 의견을 제시하고, 상대방의 의견을 듣고 이해하고 적절하게 대응하고 토론 또는 토의하는 과정에 참여하며, 이를 통해 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기, 말하기 등 영어의 4능력을 고루 사용하고 향상시켜 자유로운 영어구사능력과 글로벌 비즈니스 시대에 걸맞은 영어 의사소통 능력을 함양한다.

This course is intended to help students enhance their English communication skills through debate and discussion of various topics in English. Students will prepare and participate in debate and discussion of various topics of their choices in English and improve four English skills such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.
