영어학의 입문 과목으로 영어의 음성, 형태론, 통사론, 의미론, 화용론 등 영어학의 제 분야에에서 기본적인 개념과 언어학의 원리에 대해 학습하여 언어의 보편성과 영어의 개별성과 특이성에 이해하고 실제 언어 데이터를 분석할 수 있다.

This course is an introductory course in linguistics and English linguistics. Students will gain an understanding of different aspects of English linguistics such as sounds, words, sentences and discourses and analyze and explain english data.
