이 과목은 영어를 제2 언어나 외국어로 가르치는 것과 관련된 이론을 다루는 과목이다. 먼저 영어교육과 관련된 다양한 이론을 이해하고 그들을 평가할 수 있으며, 이러한 이론을 실제 한국 실제 교육현장에서 적용할 수 있는 능력을 기르도록 한다.

This course deals with theories of teaching English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL). First, students need to understand various theories of English education, then evaluate them and finally have to be able to apply these theories to the actual classroom setting in Korea.
