원재료, 부자재, 완제품 등을 사입하여 조달하는 패션 기업에게 요구되는 글로벌 아웃소싱에 대한 전반적 지식과 과정에 대해 학습한다. 패션글로벌 아웃소싱과 관련된 경제적, 사회적, 문화적 상황과 지속가능성에 대해 이해하고, 사례분석을 통하여 패션 기업을 위한 발전적 전략을 제시한다. 성공적인 소싱 전략 수립을 위해 다양한 데이터베이스를 사용하여 과학적 조사를 수행하는 방법을 학습한다.

The purpose of this course is to understand global sourcing concepts and processes required for fashion companies to purchase and procure raw materials, subsidiary materials, and finished products. Students study economic, social, and cultural environments, and sustainability issues relevant to fashion global sourcing and suggest strategies for fashion companies through case analyses. Students learn a scientific research method using various database for a successful sourcing strategy.
