Inorganic materials are ubiquitous: from the microscopic level of transition metal complexes and nanoparticles to the macroscopic one of solid state materials. Given the growing importance of electronic and optical materials in everyday lives, this course covers fundamental principles and applications of chemical structure and bonding, electronic and magnetic properties, optical properties of variety of inorganic molecules and materials.
