본 실험과목은 이론 강의에서 학습한 원리들을 보강하고 학생들에게 필수적인 실험기술과 기구에 익숙해지도록 설정하였다. 이론 강의에서 얻은 지식을 실용적으로 응용하는 능력을 배양하기 위해, 예를 들어 생식소 절제와 같은 수술 또는 실험적으로 당뇨를 유도한 동물에서의 생리적 변화들을 측정하기 위한 실험을 설계하고 수행한다.
교과목해설(영문)
This laboratory course is designed to supplement and reinforce the principles learned in lecture, as well as to familiarize students with essential laboratory techniques and equipment used in the acquisition of physiological data. To emphasize the practical application of the knowledge taught in lecture, students will perform the experiment for evaluating the physiological changes in animals subjected to surgeries(e.g. gonadectomy) or exposed to chemicals(e.g. streptozotocin for induction of experimental diabetes).
