본 교과에서는 컴퓨터에 시각적 지능을 구현하는 방법들을 익힌다. 인간의 시각 시스템을 파악하고 카메라에서의 영상의 형성 모델, 신호의 양자화, 영역분할, 에지와 라인 추출, 카메라 캘리브레이션, 3차원 자세 및 형상 추정 (컨투어 이용법, 스테레오 이용법, 모션 이용법), 형상 분석 및 개체 인식, 형상 표현 및 정합, 내비게이션, DEM 제작, 멀티미디어를 비롯한 여러 응용 분야에 대하여 학습한다.

In this course, the students will study how to implement the visual intelligence on the computer. For this, we will study the human visual system, image model of the camera, signal quantization, segmentation, edge and line extraction, camera calibration, 3D pose estimation, object identification, and etc.
